PIXAR 25 Years Of Animation

Pixar Animation Studios have chosen HONG KONG as the first stop for their ‘Pixar: 25 Years of Animation’ exhibition. This exhibition features never-seen-before drawings and models from Toy Story 3, as well as the likes of Finding Nemo, WALL-E, and Monsters, Inc. More excitingly, of the nearly 500 exhibits, Pixar estimates that three-quarters have never been seen outside of the studio’s archives before.

on the way to the exhibition

photography are not allowed in there so i couldn't take any pictures in there but here are some I got from the internet
story board of Toy Story 3

these are sketches of the story board and they do not look like what in the movie

Toy Story 3 traditional art work
again, they look different from the animation

Although they look different, but I personally think its more interesting.
and here comes the Toy Story models

this exhibition shows most well knowAnimated characters created by Pixar Animation Studios, such as Woody and Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story, Sulley and the human girl Boo in Monsters, Inc., the clownfish father and son in Finding Nemo and the family of superheroes in The Incredibles.

Up

and also the first character made by PIXAR
this exhibition is very inspirational and educational, it is amazing that I am able to witness the evolution of their favourite characters, like the many lovingly handcrafted prototypes of Buzz Lightyear, as well as concepts that never made it to the final cut.

The illustrations from PIXAR catches my eyes way more than the animation itself.
